Existing platforms
Can SDEV take over an existing Drupal platform?
Yes. SDEV took over IVA’s Drupal 8 platform in March 2024, audited it and improved hosting, performance and deployment. The current platform uses Drupal 11.
Does modernisation require a complete replacement?
Not always. We assess what can be retained and where changes are needed. Our 123Sonography partnership includes phased improvements within a platform that has continued evolving since 2017.
How does SDEV support releases and testing?
At IVA, SDEV introduced development, staging and production environments, continuous integration and tests. We define the release process around the platform and the changes it needs to support.
Integrations and automation
Which systems has SDEV connected?
Examples include Chargebee and Zoho at 123Sonography, Stripe and Posti for Marimekko resale, and IVA’s event-management integration. Earlier campaign work includes Acoustic automation.
How do APIs fit into platform work?
APIs let the platform exchange information with applications and external services. SDEV has used them for headless commerce, app-to-Drupal communication and custom operational workflows.
Can SDEV connect campaign and customer systems?
Our experience includes Acoustic campaign automation and CRM integrations. We start with the customer data and actions that need to move between systems, then define the integration scope.
