A brand campaign needed a game app for both iOS and Android, with backend statistics and a privacy-conscious approach. SDEV developed Lanny sucht Anschluss using a shared Ionic Vue codebase connected to Drupal.

The brief called for an Android and iOS app built from one codebase. It also required a backend dashboard for statistics without tracking individual users’ activities.
The challenge was to connect the game experience with campaign management and reporting while keeping anonymity and data privacy central to the design.

SDEV used Ionic Vue for the shared app frontend and Drupal for the backend. A REST API connected the two through an Apache APISIX gateway.
The supplied screens and artwork show the campaign entry, gameplay and end-of-round results.

The supplied gameplay screen shows the playing area, score, remaining lives and pause control within the app.

The full Game Over artwork shows an illustrative score of 240 and the daily leaderboard.

Ionic Vue provided a shared frontend codebase for iOS and Android, keeping the campaign experience consistent across the two platforms.
Drupal supported backend content management and dashboard statistics. The REST API ran through Apache APISIX, providing the gateway between the mobile app and backend services.
The reporting requirement was to show statistics without tracking individual user activity. The project demonstrates how app delivery, backend management and reporting requirements can be considered together.
